Display Ads & Banner Ads Geofencing for Auto Shops

You can find display ads on various websites (newspapers, espn, how-to websites, blogs, etc). They’re most commonly image ads but can also be text, image, rich media, or video.

Display ads are great for building local brand awareness. They increase your company’s visibility to people in your neighborhood and allow you to display your advertisements in relevant spaces. One key ingredient to most online marketing is the ability to layer in 3rd party data like geofencing data. The issue with this is every data company claims to have the best data when, in reality, their data is widely inaccurate. To complicate things further, most ad inventory companies that let you use geofencing data have a terrible reputation with ad inventory(junk/fake views). Without this knowledge, many think geofencing looks fantastic. More often than not, it leads to terrible results.

Display Ads

Say you own a car repair shop, and someone within five miles of your business is reading an article online about how to replace brakes for their car. This article would be a great spot for you to display an image ad for your brand inviting that reader to visit your shop.

For longer sales cycles, display ads can aid in building your brand as your prospect goes through the sales process.

For example, if someone is searching websites for "how much does a new engine replacement cost on a 2019 BMW X5" and you own a BMW repair shop, it’d be a good idea for you to advertise on the websites they’re using for their research. Then, when that person is further down the sales cycle and searches for “BMW mechanic near me” and sees your company in the search results, this potential customer will already be familiar with your brand.
